Shipping and Returns

When will my order ship?

We'll ship your order within 1-4 business days. If your order contains a unit that will be assembled in-house, please allow a lead time of 2 weeks before shipping.


Do you accept returns?

Yes! We're happy to accept returns within 30 days of your purchase.

Kits must be received in the same condition they were sent with no parts bent or soldered. The buyer will pay return shipping and the original shipping cost will not be refunded.

Assembled units must also be in "as received" condition. You are welcome to try them out before returning, but be careful not to scratch or otherwise damage the unit.


Do you offer local pickup?

No, we are not equipped to offer local pickup at our Philadelphia warehouse.


Do you ship to my country?

Most likely, yes! We're proud to send our kits to DIYers all over the world.

We will ship to any country served by USPS ( see full list here) as well as APO/FPO/DPO addresses.


How long does shipping take?

Domestic shipping typically takes 2-3 business days, depending on your location. International shipments typically take 2-5 days via Fedex. You can track your shipment via the tracking number in your shipping confirmation email.


Will I need to pay any import fees?

Most international customers will owe some import duties to their local customs agency. These fees are calculated and added to your shipping cost at checkout. Duties and taxes are then billed to us, so you will not pay anything at the time of delivery.


My package hasn't arrived yet (international).

If your package hasn't arrived, odds are it's stuck with your local customs office. Contact your local customs or postal office to see if they are holding your package. They may be able to identify your package via the USPS tracking/customs number provided in your shipping confirmation email.

Sometimes, if your customs agency can't contact you within a certain time period, they may return the package to us. If this happens, you have the choice of a) receiving a refund for your order, minus the shipping cost or b) having your order re-shipped for the re-shipment cost.

If you cannot locate your package after 45 days, we'll consider it lost and send a replacement. We hate asking you to wait this long, but we have seen numerous international packages delivered within this window.
